题目:  Free boundary in optimal transport

摘要: In an important paper by Caffarelli and McCann, they proved that the free boundary in optimal partial transport problem is $C^{1,/alpha}$ regular, assuming the domains are strictly convex. I will discuss some recent work with Jiakun Liu on a slight improvement by removing the strict convexity condition on the domains, thus establishing a sharp result. Higher order regularity will also be discussed.
